I fell into the drain today.  After work.  I was plucking the hibiscus for my hair spa.  I slipped and ended up in the waist-depth, narrow, dry drain.

AND I FEEL SO AWFULLY PAINFUL!

I cannot remember the very last time I accidentally injured myself (not that I have the inclination towards self-mutilation!).

And it was hell trying to undress because my skinny jeans brushed against the bruises.  SO PAINFULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I was groaning like an injured dog (at least Shorty groans when he's in pain).

And I was thinking about a friend whom recently gave birth.  How painful is childbirth?  This is just a very minor thing compare to...  having one's vagina open up (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

No.

I don't want to talk about childbirth.

I am supposed to write about something to make me forget about the pain.

It is Friday.

Bloody Friday.

Good night!

Phishing scam (Maybank)

The fcuking greedy bastards sent me this email last Friday, saying that:
Your account have been flagged by our security experts. it appear somebody is login into your account from different locations You are therefore required to verify and update your details to avoid service suspension.

And if they are thinking I am a fool, sorry lorrr...

Dear Bastard,

I read the papers and I am aware of your illegal activity.  I wish with all the money you steal from people, you will get:
  1. Multiple diseases that money cannot cure!!!
  2. Sons/daugthers who will disown you when you no longer rich!!!
  3. Wife/husband who will leave you for someone who don't steal!!!
Now, get out of my sight!!!  You can go to hell with the duit haram!!!

What is wrong with these conmen huh?!  Even a miniscule-sized me can do double jobs - decent enough to live with my two boys (curi limelight a bit ;)) - without stealing from others.  Never had I thought of taking someone's money forcibly!

I still keep the email (which was directed into my junk folder, thank god!) and I intend to go to Maybank to report about it.

Never, ever, click any links send from such suspicious email.  If you are worry about the money in your account, call your nearest bank to check if there is really such thing happened.  I repeat, do not click anything from the bastard's email.

T.G.I.F., yet, again!

Honestly speaking, the only time that I clean my room (i.e. change the bedding, sweep & double-mop the floor) is on Fridays.  Because I like to start my weekends doing nothing.  Because I like to wash away everything related to the heavy-duty, loaded working days.  It is like a ritual for me.  Psychologically comforting, I say.

It is also the longest time I would bar the boys from entering my room because it want it to be squeaky clean, fur-less, no funny-funny paw prints, doormat in the right position (LouLou likes to play with it, that sillymolly kitty!), no messing with the fresh bedsheet (again, LouLou always like to rasmi the newly changed bedsheet just to prove his kiasu-ness!), no Shorty scratching himself against the wall (Shorty, Mommy is proud of your artwork at the car porch's wall, but not in our room =.=).

r.i.n.a. asked what my plan for tomorrow.  Nothing.  Ooh!  Maybe I want to take my car for vacuum cleaning.  I had said this for the umpteenth times.  Either I was too lazy to make it; or the weather was not right; or I used that budget allocation to buy beauty stuff!  Hah!

The boys are so quiet downstairs.  Did they merajuk again?  (They always go sulking if I did not let them in.)  I better check them now.

Have a nice weekend!

Full tank of happiness

Last Friday was a frightening one because LouLou theCat was not feeling very well.  I had to literally kick him off the bed which is so not him!  Because he is the one who literally kick me of my own bed everyday, rain or shine.  When he fell of the bed, I funnily thought he was still in dreamy, sleepy mode.  But not when I saw him groggily staggering on the stair, struggling to keep his balance.  He and Shorty always racing down to the food bowl and the main door, respectively.

I thought, could it be that I was overdosing him?  I checked his medicine labels over and over again.  Half a pill a day, after meal.  Cream, twice a day.  I felt so guilty to leave him at such unwell state!

The next day I rushed him to the vet, explaining to him in details of LouLou's progress (or deteriorating state of health, to be exact!).  I said in a desperate tone, "He went for a walk with me and Shorty everyday except on Friday.  He can't even barely jumped off the bed properly!  But he is eating well which I think is funny.  I mean, a sick cat normally won't have an appetite, right?"

So the vet checked the list of medicines Lou was having recently, took the box of the medicine and patiently read to the nervous catmommy "The side effects are drowsiness, diarrhea, vomiting, ..."  I cannot remember the rest but drowsiness was what apparently affecting my poor boy.

"I don't like what it does to your cat, so stop giving him that pill altogether.  He might be experiencing adverse drug reaction."  Thank god, some explanation there.  So no pills for LouLou.  I stop the cream too, just to make sure he is in a pink of health again before we start again.

I am watching him bullying Shorty while writing this.  Looks like LouLou is back on action again!  Ooh!  He is looking at me annoyingly, perhaps because he cannot find a spot on the bed because I have this laptop, some paper works (which I am supposed to review!!!), the bedtime snack (book) all over the bed.

Alright, I want to play with the boys now.

Goodnight!

Safety first

OK.  It is Friday.  And you might go for luncheon a bit far from your office because, obviously, it is Friday where we get our extra minutes.  Or you might go for drinks after work - yeah!  to kick off the weekends, right.  Or, you are going to join the crowd in the shopping mall (like me!!!).

Whatever the stuff you're doing, please, please, please... BE CAREFUL with your surrounding.  Watchout who is standing behind you (I always glance at my back when I'm at the ATM).  Walk in the opposite direction of the traffic & make sure your bag is at the inner side of the road - not exposing it to the (sial) snatch thieves.

OK?  OK.  I will keep that in my mind too.  Because you don't want to experience what this girl have gone through, do you?

Enjoy your Friday!

Wordy Friday

I cannot remember what I was searching at Dictionary.com today but somehow I was distracted with the question just below the search box:
What's the technical term for couples who call each other names like honey bunny?
Tada! It is called...
hypocorism [hahy-pok-uh-riz-uhm, hi-] – noun
  1. a pet name.
  2. the practice of using a pet name.
  3. the use of forms of speech imitative of baby talk, especially by an adult.
Bleghhh!  That is confusing me with hypocrite!

Famous Friday

Today is Friday.

Today is Friday on which I decide I want to do a simple good act.

(I admit I am not a very good person so…)

I was reading The Fame & The Shame on Night Owl Says when I noticed that one blogshops that I like is not on the fame list.  And because I had a wonderful experience buying from the seller, I took all the trouble of making a short testimonial so that she can be nominated.

Who is she?  My Walking Wardrobe.

The blouse I bought from her becomes my favourite top for this year.  It is just a simple one (or two actually, because I bought two of the same item but in different colors), but since it is quite difficult for me to find clothing that really fit me snuggly, having one than suit me well really makes me one happy online shopper.

Aww!  That makes me itching to go shopping again!  Tata!

Picky eater

I admit that I’m a picky eater.  A habit I have since I was young.  Ask my parents.  They tried many ways to get me eating.  Mommy told me that I used to stuff my food in my mouth until she realized that I had not swallowed anything!

Now that I’m older, my pickiness somehow is not subdued but even getting worst sometimes.  One day I’m a voracious eater; another day I could puke just by looking at the menu.

Just like early this week, I bought myself Indian rojak and pork porridge for brunch.  I cleaned my bowls (except for the potatoes in the rojak – I hate puh-tey-toh).  Then, I went on munching on raisin biscuits and butter cookies before I finally smothered all down with a mug of my favourite poison: coffee.

And just few days ago, I felt extremely hungry and insatiable throughout the day.  I had oatmeal with milk for breakfast.  After taking lunch, I went on eating peanut butter sandwiches which I luckily packed for coffee break that day.  And since I’d eaten my bread before the break, I just took cream crackers with coffee.  By dinner time, I was still feeling full from the whole day crazy eating that I just drank a hot cocoa drink.

Today, I skipped breakfast (I was late for work!!!  Again!!!).  Strangely I don’t feel hungry at all.  At lunch, I barely finished my meal.  I think I only ate two-thirds of it.  What a waste!  I still have egg sandwiches.  Now I really feel like throwing up!!!

Cameron Highland, we go!

We girls have been hyper-actively discussing about it at work.  Yup, office hour is the best time to have our sneaky discussion because...  it is so fun doing something against the rule / job description.  rawr!!!!  So this would be our first trip together, so, so, so excited about it!  Khaty is in charge of the bills and expenses - so all the ringgits will be processed by her.  Ing is our designated driver; but of course me and Azida can take turn driving, Khaty is totally out of the equation because she prefers driving auto car.  Heehee!!!  I'm still screening for the places to go and hopefully we can squeeze it within the 2N/3D.

I'm personally wanting to:

  • Try the tea & scones at Cameron Valley Tea House and/or T-Cafe - maybe I will just sit there for hours and enjoy the scenery and the fresh air and the... tea & scones, of course!  Maybe take some photos, yeah!
  • Tea Plantation; maybe Boh Plantation at Sungei Palas and again, Cameron Valley Tea Plantation.
  • Herbs at MARDI - buy parsley, basil, cilantro & all other funny named herbs despite me being a kitchen hazard.  LOL!!!
  • Buy postcards - I hope the souvenirs shops stack loads & loads of it!
Okiedookie, don't kill me just because I didn't say I'm so wanting to visit the rose garden, cactus valley, go self-picking strawberries when these are the obvious reason people going there.  Yours truly will tag along with the girls - it would be more fun that way, wouldn't it?

Since we've just got our annual leave approved - Ing & I were quite anxious while waiting green light from the other two girls' boss - I can start packing my stuff now.

The source stated that the temperature in April is between 15.8 to 23.3 degree C.  Man, it is not April fooling me kind of chillness!  And 22 days of raining?!?!  I'm definitely bringing an umbrella!

Argh! A chic lit, nonetheless!

I cannot remember when was the last time I read a chic lit.  Maybe during my student days which is quite some time ago considering that I am now age more than a quarter of a century!  So when I saw Meg Cabot's The Guy Next Door on Mommy Eryna's desk last Friday, I borrowed it from her right away.  I finished it on the same night although I was initially planned to read it slowly on Saturday.  Greedy me!

The verdict:
I managed (no one forced me to read it so "managed" is not quite the word to describe my Friday's night bookorgasm) - found the word! - was so high that I bookorgasmly devoured its content in less than 3 hours!  What?!  3 hours is too long?!  Okie, okie.  I was distracted in between the reading because I go up and looked outside everytime Shorty was barking, or when LouLou meowed.

The actual verdict:
A nice book - just what I need for a light, relaxing night.  It is a page turner for sure, because whenever I stopped at a paragraph, I was so eager to know what will be the next thing.  But the story is getting more predictable towards the end...  Funny, bitchy, dark characters are all in it.  I guess I had too many Mills & Boons during my younger days to had guessed the ending.  Now, I am gearing up for another bookorgasm because I can't wait for Friday!
