Post Class

I was encouraging my class to speak in English.  And we had fun talking about Justin Bieber (thank god none of us are fan of him), Bruno Mars (aww!!! we love him alot!), and hardcore music in general.  I asked the boy what is it like (hardcore) then he jokingly said "nanti pecah kalau I buat (sing)" to which all of us laughed.  Then I told them I only listen to the pop songs played over the air, and they eagerly asked me to check YouTube for such underground stuff.  It was very informal but well, I don't want them to make a boring speech.  {yawn}

And I forgot that I am actually sick because I was too engrossed with our fun conversation!  Only after we goodbyed each other that I feel...  ooh...  my throat...  my nose... gotta rush home now and relax.

Ooh yeah!  By the time I got home, the lights and the fan in the living room as well as the kitchen were all lighted.  I was pissed off because no one was in the areas.  So rich and want to waste the energy huh?!

Oh dear rich boy, go get your own place if you like to lit up every single light in the house when you are not using it.  But not when you are staying with me.

Good night!

Stress buster: The Oatmeal

When I was browsing for images in weheartit, I stumbled upon this funny site: The Oatmeal.

The round headed character reminds me of Stickgal...

I am sure a kitty lover / caffeine addict / English learner like me would enjoy stuff like:
It is just so timely.  I mean, I was mad and needed to vent out my dissatisfaction about this particular takaful company.  But these nonsense funny things are de-stressing me!

Lunch's crunchy note

Want a Raise? Wash Your Vagina

O M G !

It was the title that caught my eyes first.

So perfect for my post-lunch's please-snap-me-out-from-the-sleepiness.

Are you afraid of flying?

One of my favorite sections in a newspaper is comic strips.  Calvin & Hobbes.  Charlie Brown.  Garfield.  So this Sunday I let my comical boys entertain me with their very original comic.

Happy weekend everyone!

Cheeky Monday

This one song has all the cheesy lines in it and this particular part got me laughing every time I heard it on air:
I wanna buy ya everything
except cologne
'cause it's poison
It makes me wonder whether he too, suffering from headache if he sniffed on fragrance.

But apart from the cheesy-cheesy part, I like the chorus:
And if I'm addicted to loving you
And you're addicted to my love too
We can be them two birds of a feather
That flock together
Love, love
Got to have something to keep us together
Love, Love
That's enough for me

Counting the hours left...

Roughly about 3 and a half hours before I hit the road home!

Yay to Monday!!!

Weight loss

Disclaimer:  This is not about a weight loss tips.  If you are expecting one, please navigate away from the current page.  Thank you!

Sometimes journalists seem to report what to me is rather funny, or irrelevant. For example, in today’s news about a missing teenager:
She would not have the courage to leave on her own,” said Wang, who added that she has lost 6kg since her daughter’s disappearance 21 days ago.
Read here for full report

Alright, do not shoot me yet!

I know the parent wants to emphasize her grievance but heck!

I would not even think of weighing myself on Day 1 of Missing Shorty/LouLou to Day 21. No way! I would be too sad to care about how much I lost (or gain). Perhaps Wang have a habit of weighing herself daily which is why she knows about her weight. I do not weigh myself because no matter how much food I consumed, my scale would never tip beyond 40kg. I am very sure of that.

I thought of asking the writer about how the mother knows she has lost that many kilograms, but I am too lazy to go for that extent.

Calling Shorty, calling me

My neighbor was looking for me yesterday but since she don't know my name, she called for Shorty instead!  :D

We were in the house at the time so this crazy short-legged boy began to cry as he wanted to see the lady.  Naturally, I have to open the door to let him out.  And being a polite neighbor, I came out from the house as well to greet not just one, but two other lovely ladies and a teh-C colored pug (who was busy pee-fighting with Shorty while we girls were having a conversation).

There were many accounts where the neighbors called me by using Shorty's name.  And most all of them are dog owners.  Like them, I don't know their names too, but funnily enough, I know their pets names!

By the way, I gave my name card to the neighbor.  I told her "just in case for emergency".  LOL!  Now she knows my name.  {wink}

Wordless Tuesday

I am in the mood of writing although I have nothing to say actually. Yeah, the other day I was tempted to write about someone who got under my skin. But then again, I was thinking, that someday when I hit the old age I want to read something from the younger me which reminds me of a good time, a good friend, a good pet, a good food, a good place… Basically all the goodies stuff.  Besides, I believe that the person have no intention of doing so if he/she know that it blew me up; perhaps it is in their genes, you know, being nosey and all.

I also don't want to take the risk of them red-flagging me.  :o

Anyway, the office hour is almost over now.

I'm thinking what's for dinner tonight...

Shorty's Mama

My neighbor's son was playing with Shorty this morning.  He is just one head taller than Shorty.  Both look adorable:  the boy with his kindy uniform and large school bag; and Shorty with his usual sunny self.  I was watching them from the living room while having my morning coffee.

Just as I went out of the house, the boy told their maid:  "Mama dia sudah keluar" and stood at their gate watching me.  Hah!  You'd hit the jackpot, young man.  I am the mama.  (:  And the next door neighbor use Shorty to pacify his daughter whom was crying as he was about to leave home.

Shorty!  Never short of admirers!

May Day

Watched Ip Man 2 & Iron Man 2 over the weekend.  Both are not as interesting as the first sequels.  Although I have to say I enjoyed watching Ip Man 2 more.  Ooohhh!  I thought I am a crazy one when I giggled quite loud over something during the Ip Man 2 show.  I tried not to laugh so loud but hey!  The other audiences were laughing too and I think it drown my voice in any sense anyway.

But not until the skinny tiny lady laughed dramatically until my seat also shaked & rocked!!!  And the most funny thing is, she shouted excitedly when Ip Man defeated Twister.  Overreacting la!  It is not like we were watching a live boxing show but I guess she was too much "into" the movie from the way she behaved...

Oh well!  At least she didn't spilled my drinks and popcorn.

Synchronized your sleep

Was browsing the old photos of Shorty and LouLou.
I realized how funny they look when they were sleeping in such position:

In the kitchen

At the front door

Quicker than a Quickie

  • Had a late lunch at 2pm due to urgent stuff at workplace.  Thought want to skip but hate feeling hungry later in the afternoon.  Besides, I don't have biscuits in my drawer now, only a gluten-free yoghurt bar.  Not exactly what I like to go with my afternoon coffee.
  • Funny quote of the day (read full article here).  Despite me having no intention to have my own sooner/later, I still think there is something bothering, and objectionable about the part that reads "...or have none at all".
"The No. 1 thing people can do to be an eco-sexual is to have fewer kids, or have none at all," said Weiss, who is childless.
  • Was thinking of doing a bit of online shopping when I was dragged out of the office.  It was about work.  I missed my coffee.
