You know, there is always something up in Mondays. For me, it is time to catch up with friends – after hiding out (or, hibernating) in the weekends. And because Mondays are psychologically long (for me), I always lighten up my day by reading blogs and some of (my favorite) columnists’ articles.
It was a coincidence that I put “Airy Monday” as my entry title yesterday - because I felt somewhat calm, only to be equally terrified and humored when I read a fiery post by a certain blogger. It took me by surprise that this blogger can actually produced such a… flaming posting.
On the other hand, if I own an online shop, I would not even thought of posting “kampung-hater…yes, me” just to rub any potential customers in the wrong way, deliberately. I mean, one cannot be calling people “hi sayang-sayangku” (which might or might not includes the kampung citizen), but then admitting “i hate kampung people because they’re idiots.” Ouch, ouch, ouch!!! Now, please tell me that such statement will draw buyers from cities and kampungs alike. If yes, wow! I want to use that publicity stunt too although I have not think of what I want to sell yet.
To humor myself, I asked the shop owner “(Kampung Lover:) Dear Kampung Hater, are these soaps handmade by the village people or the city dwellers?”
Hello to the city people!
Hello to the kampung people!
Hello to lovers & haters everywhere!
Special hello to another kampung girl.
We are moving ;)

Battle v.3, I think?
Yet. Another. Stupid. Fight.
He wasn't home yet when I came back from work yesterday. This silly boy secretly appeared and curi-curi finishing his food before he cabut again for another fight - my wild guess, thanks to his nature! Thanks to my highly alert housemates who told me "I think you need to see your cat; his face is so bloody!"
Mind you, I just bathed them on Monday. So right on the following day he came back to me with wounds and bruises and scratches! Niamah! I expect them to remain immaculate at least for a day. A day, only!
Today I bought him that funny-looking shield to prevent him from licking the cream. He hates it so much and tries to take it off as I am writing this. Aww LouLou, just be a little patient, okie? When the cream is dry we'll take it off and you can sleep nicely.
My room smells like a hospital now. Even looks like one because all of the cotton pads, hydrogen peroxide, antiseptic spray and the cream!
Huhuhu... I don't care about the smell now. I just want him to heal quickly.

Padan muka!
A very gory end for snatch thief
35 years old. Not a blind or a disable person. Kesian the snatch thief’s family member? Maybe, because he could be someone’s son / husband / father. But why would an able-bodied person choose to steal from others? I could only curse these snatch thieves when they get away uncaught. But when I read that they get killed, my oh my, I feel like as if I won a lifetime free, limitless supply of Starbucks!
Isn’t it frightening that one is not even safe at theirs own house compound nowadays? Even with a companion, I always pay attention to my surrounding before I hop into or get out from my car. I would never turn off my engine until my house gate is fully closed. The reason is, I think (I think la hor…) I can crash into the intruder if they try to attack me. I mean, I would be all panicky to turn on the car engine when I see them. Or at least, I can hit my own wall and gate to get my neighbors’ attention. Because I cannot open the window least they strangle me out from my car, right? And, I don’t always go back at the same time everyday. See, they might have checked your schedule before they launch an attack. Creepy!!! Needless to say, I am always highly suspicious of motorbikes passing in the housing area.
It is only Tuesday. I want my Friday!

WWYD: When Mad Dog Is Answering The Phone Call?
| From: weheartit |
Some receptionists are very poor on the phone etiquettes. Like the lady who answered my call this morning. She was quite polite nice when I inquired about the consultation fee. However, to my surprise, she started to (sort of) yell like a mad dog when asked about the clinic’s operating hours.
Mad Dog: Doctor (is in from) 9 to 1 only laa’aah…Me: Is it open every day?Mad Dog: Sunday (is a) public holiday laa’aah…
If I know the schedule, I would not ask Ms. Mad Dog in the first place. But then again, even if I know the schedule, I might ask just to confirm. What is wrong with that, Ms. Mad Dog? Isn’t part of your job is to provide info to the potential customer?
At first I was glad that the fee is lower than the other clinics. However, I immediately decide to delete it from my list. Yes, because of the rude mad dog infected receptionist. I don’t want my money goes to pay for the mad dog’s salary. It might not be a big amount but no thanks. I rather buy yummy food for my dogkid!
Anyway, Happy Friday Thursday to all!

I met a donkey
| From weheartit Just one whiff and I am on my way to hell! |
She asked me whether it is OK to interrupt me for a while (I was eating in a kopitiam). Before I answered her, she already rambling something about the product to which I said “I am not interested.”
She replied something and before I know, dot! A tiny trace of perfume on my skin. She asked me to smell it and me, already half burning in my ass, retorted “I am allergic to fragrance.” With that, she walked away, not even thanking for my time!
There I was, fuming over the donkey and the effect of the bad perfume. The smell is so bad that I imagine anyone wearing it will look similar to the whore-like donkey! Really! At first glance, I really thought she is one of cheap China dolls but when she spoke to me, I realized she is a local.
I had to unwind my windows so that the smell will not linger in my car and causing me headache. I tried to wash it with soap but I still can smell it! Worst yet, my head is now throbbing – not a good sign!
Another day of headache

Maxis' bad quality customer service!
I have a bad experience with Maxis today.
Firstly, the connection is inconsistent that I need to refresh the pages almost every minute! I checked my data usage but found out it is still within the quota (0.05 out of 3GB). So it should not be slowing down on me, right.
Secondly, the Indian guy at the call centre who answered my call. After I explained nicely to him about my problem, he asked for my account number. While I was searching for it, either 1) the network broke down, or 2) he purposely hung up on me. Whichever the reason that made my call interrupted, I think, the Indian guy have no interest in his job. If he is, he would have call me on my number and help me. Shame on you! I hope someday your boss will find out how unprofessional you are!
Finally, a girl who is not-so-helpful-but-not-as-lousy-as-the-Indian-guy assisted me. But that one was only went a bit smoother after I resorted to use subtle threatening. The thing was she kept saying that she could not hear me clearly. Before she says, “Please try to call back later” (I sensed that she was trying to say that because it was nearing to lunch hour and maybe she has got a lunch date!), I firmly told her, “It is OK if you are not interested in solving my problem. I will just wait until one-full year and proceed to terminate my account. Thank you.” I wondered why she could hear me clearly when I warned that I am done with using their service BUT not when I was telling her my problem! I just hope that the conversation was recorded and her boss will listen to it someday! Just few seconds after I hung up, the girl called me. So this time everything was explained nicely to me BUT it still did not solve the issue permanently! I was asked to monitor how frequent the internet get disconnected, bla, bla, bla…
Since they cannot solve it immediately and permanently, I have decided that I would change to others (DiGi, Celcom, P1 Wimax et cetera) once the contract end. Yeah, I am stupid because despite of their lousy internet connection and even lousier customer service, I am still stuck to them. The reason is, I do not want to pay the penalty.

Bad food service
I witnessed one unpleasant incident at the canteen today.
Customer: I want to return this. (showing a plate of veggie)
Canteen: Why? (buat muka bodoh)
Customer: It smells so bad.
Canteen: (take the plate, look at the veggie container at the counter at stirring it with the large spatula) Nothing wrong.
Customer: (losing his patience) Smell and see.
Canteen: (with her monkey-donkeyish face) …
And while the customer was eating, the monkey-donkey lady went over to his place.
Canteen: You don’t complain to me, but when you see my boss, you tell her.
Customer: (nodding his head, looking blankly at the monkey-donkey lady, and continue eating)
Canteen: (still not satisfied with the response and continue to defend herself) I’m only the worker.
Aha! That is when I almost explode listening to such a selfish explanation!
I wanted yell at the monkey-donkey lady
THAT IS WHY YOU ARE STUCK AT BEING A FOOD SERVICE OPERATOR ONLY BECAUSE YOU CANNOT EVEN SOLVE FOR SUCH A SIMPLE MATTER!Well, I have nothing against any waiters/waitresses but this idiot one just makes me want to punch her face!
She could have checked the food prior to selling it. If the food still okay (visual-, taste- & smell-wise), to the display counter it goes. If not, report to the manager. Was it so difficult to do?! Either her brain is baked in the microwave or she forgotten to put it on this morning.
I am self-banning myself from buying food from them (which actually started long before this incident happened), and not even a canned drink.

Picky eater
I admit that I’m a picky eater. A habit I have since I was young. Ask my parents. They tried many ways to get me eating. Mommy told me that I used to stuff my food in my mouth until she realized that I had not swallowed anything!
Now that I’m older, my pickiness somehow is not subdued but even getting worst sometimes. One day I’m a voracious eater; another day I could puke just by looking at the menu.
Just like early this week, I bought myself Indian rojak and pork porridge for brunch. I cleaned my bowls (except for the potatoes in the rojak – I hate puh-tey-toh). Then, I went on munching on raisin biscuits and butter cookies before I finally smothered all down with a mug of my favourite poison: coffee.
And just few days ago, I felt extremely hungry and insatiable throughout the day. I had oatmeal with milk for breakfast. After taking lunch, I went on eating peanut butter sandwiches which I luckily packed for coffee break that day. And since I’d eaten my bread before the break, I just took cream crackers with coffee. By dinner time, I was still feeling full from the whole day crazy eating that I just drank a hot cocoa drink.
Today, I skipped breakfast (I was late for work!!! Again!!!). Strangely I don’t feel hungry at all. At lunch, I barely finished my meal. I think I only ate two-thirds of it. What a waste! I still have egg sandwiches. Now I really feel like throwing up!!!

Monday headache
I am having a real bad day at work today.
The cleaning service lady was using a fragranced floor disinfectant which caused me a headache and made me feel like want to throw up. This is not a first time I am reacting badly to something smells strongly in a closed space. I cannot stand air-freshener and fabric softener the most, while some household cleaning liquids are still bearable. It can be an upsetting time if I happened to sit in a same car with someone whom wears perfume / smelly hair gel, which is just as worst as having someone with bad BO besides you. I first know that I might be a fragrance/perfume allergic sufferer after experiencing a severe headache upon using a softener while doing my laundry.
When it really started? I have no clue. It is just one fine day that suddenly your body is telling you: “Nah, I don’t like this smell” without any warnings ahead. I am guessing that my body is aging sooner than what I thought. Maybe it is time for me to screen through myfood coffee intake.

Now where are we?
The boys are still excited about the new place. They keep running in and out, and around the house. I hope I have a boundless energy and enthusiasm like them. By the way, the opposite neighbor have 7 dogs in all sizes! My godness!
But despite their difference in sizes, I can generally say that they are too well overfed. When I saw the tall one (sorry, I am illiterate when it comes to dogs breed), I thought she/he is pregnant (I need to verify on this one too). Not until I met the other 5 smaller and shorter comrades of it. So round, as shapeless as a bolster! I took Shorty out to meet them today. Well, I was supposed to introduce them earlier but it was raining in the past few days.
Few units away from me is another white Labrador (I think it is a Labrador) whom got excited to see us passing by the neighborhood street. Geez! These dogs makes me envy about their perspective of life. Dogs say: "If there's a new comer in the street, greet them and try to sniff them eventhough you're tied to gate / locked in the cage." Me, I get tongue-tied whenever I see my neighbors. All I do is smile while my mind is racing to think the appropriate line.
Anyway, LouLou was attacked right at the car porch last night. That stupid big cat. You think your ancestor own the street huh? My little boy is new to the place and if you don't welcomed him here, stay far, far away. Why need to launch an attack!? Ah, this really worried me because I don't want to keep them in the house. Last night I let him sleep in the house as I don't want the fat intruder to disturb him.
My boys!

Beh Tahan Argh!!!
Jumbo Dumbo: She didn't tell you?
Mr Anonymous: No.
Jumbo Dumbo: I thought the two of you are very close.I am glad that Mr Anonymous is very discreet and secretive about it. However, I only have *censored* for Jumbo Dumbo.
Jumbo Dumbo, if you are reading this - you have no idea how close (or vice versa) we are. Therefore, I am very surprised of your unprofessional commentary. Obviously, you can't even grasp the basic of communication after years of dealing with people like us. Aha! I get it! You're spending too much time fattening up your a$$. And now what?! I guess for a special slimming session you should go around and check how we are doing. Boohoo!!!! Also, next time please refrain yourself from using "I thought, I thought". Your analytical skill is so... not what I am expecting from so-called "qualified professional".

Flashback
Got to make this one short. And out of my chest.
I saw an MIB (man in bike) stopped between my neighbors' and my house this morning when I was going out. And I don't feel good. I think he's been there even before I woke up because Ah Wong and QiuQiu were barking non-stop. Shorty, being the less serious one, only barked few times. Although I swear he can bark the whole night if I didn't walk him. As the case of Ah Wong and QiuQiu, the two of them only bark at strangers and the coward postman.
He was still there when I drove out. Why the heck he need to wait there??? He is wearing yellow-collared white t-shirt, the kind you see people working in Chinese restaurant would wear. The most infuriating is, he stare back at me when I stared at him.
Alright, if Lauren Weisberger said "Everyone worth knowing", let me add that "Every stranger that stop nearby your place could be a (crime) suspect!" I mean, fine, if you're looking/waiting for your friend there. But I saw none of my neighbors coming out to meet him so... I am very suspicious of this man!
I am soooooooooooooooo going back even if I have to miss my lunch today!
